1. Independent service notice

The Licence Plate is a private, independent third-party support service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the DVLA, GOV.UK or any UK government department or agency. The same applications can be made directly to the DVLA on gov.uk without our service fee.

2. Nature of the service

We provide guidance, document review and application preparation support. We do not issue number plates, registration documents, or any official government decisions. All official outcomes remain the sole responsibility of the relevant UK authority.

3. Fees

Our service fee is shown on our Pricing page and is charged in addition to any DVLA or government fees that you may be required to pay separately.

4. Refunds

You may request a full refund of our service fee within 14 days of payment, provided we have not yet submitted any prepared documents on your behalf. After work has commenced, partial refunds may apply at our discretion.

5. No legal advice

Information provided through this website and our service is for general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of any information you submit to UK authorities.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the service fee paid by you. We are not liable for any decisions made by the DVLA or any UK authority.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
